Post-doc fellow of the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Pavia. He has been collaborating with Eucentre Foundation since 2012.
He is mainly involved on researches dealing with experimental and numerical (with approaches that can use either macro- or micro-models) studies on the seismic response of infills.
In 2012 he obtained the Master of Engineering degree cum laude at the University of Pavia, in 2014 and 2016, he completed, respectively, the MEEES (Master in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology) and the Ph.D. UME (Understanding and Managing Extremes) at the IUSS Pavia.
During the Ph.D. studies, he has been co-inventor of a patented innovative seismic resistant masonry infill.
He conceived, designed and executed new experimental setups and protocols.
He is a licensed engineering.
