She got her five-year degree in Building Engineering and Architecture at the University of Pavia (Italy) in 2006.
In the same year she joined the ROSE School (Centre for Post-Graduate Training and Research in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology) to attend the Master’s program (MSc) in Earthquake Engineering that she completed in 2008 with a thesis entitled: “Seismic vulnerability assessment of a Hospital building” (supervisor: Dr. Rui Pinho).
Since 2008 she collaborates with EUCENTRE as seismic engineer, concentrating her activities in the modelling of the nonlinear behaviour of reinforced concrete structures, as well in the seismic assessment of existing buildings.
Over the years she also collaborated in teaching activities (training courses for engineers).
