Civil engineer in Eucentre from January 2017 and professional engineer subscribed in the Association of Engineers of Ancona, n# 4040 (Ambiental and Civil sector).
He obtained the master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Pavia, with 110/110 cum laude, and he obtained the Ph.D. at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture, University of Pavia.
During the Ph.D. course he studied numerical modelling and analyses, in non-linear and linear field, and he developed a finite element software with an innovative formulation.
His research activity mainly focused on steel structures with thin-walled profiles and he published several articles in international journals.
He dealt with steel storage pallet racks, seismic vulnerability of concrete structures, steel tanks, docks for oil tanker ships, non-structural elements, local vulnerability of airport structures, detection of damages and compiling of surveys forms.
