Eng. Francesca Bozzoni of the Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering section, led by Prof. Carlo G. Lai, took part on behalf of EUCENTRE in the post-event geotechnical engineering reconnaissance survey conducted by the team of GEER (Geotechnical Extreme Events Reconnaissance) Association.
The Italy-US GEER team, with expertise in geotechnical earthquake engineering, geology, seismology and, geomatics, carried out the main phase of surveys from November 30 to December 5, 2016, in the areas in Central Italy struck by the 2016 seismic sequence.
