The RETURN Foundation has announced a call for funding for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) interested in developing innovative projects in environmental sustainability and technological innovation. This call, part of the PNRR RETURN project, makes available a total funding of EUR 1.8 million to support projects worth between EUR 100,000 and EUR 200,000, covering up to 70 % of the total cost. The deadline for submitting applications is 14 November at 14:00.
Interested companies will be able to propose projects in seven main thematic areas:
- Strategies and solutions for the decarbonisation of buildings;
- Digital technologies for modelling climate risks in urban areas;
- Digital tools and technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve knowledge of the built environment;
- Sensor-based monitoring technologies for mapping geomorphology, shoreline and infrastructure services in urban areas;
- Intelligent and scalable mapping based on multi-sensor and geospatial data;
- Digital solutions to promote environmental sustainability, energy self-production and circular economy in urban contexts;
- Digital technologies to facilitate the visualisation and communication of risks and their possible impacts.
