From February 27th, at the Eucentre Foundation ShakeLab, shake-table dynamic tests will be carried out on a steel silo (supplied by AGI Frame) filled with wheat.
The tests will be performed on the mono-axial shake-table (7m x 5.6m) in order to evaluate the silo behaviour subjected to seismic actions, the silo will be tested both in fixed and base isolated configuration. The base isolation is obtained with four curved surface sliding isolators.
